Seminar A tour of the Zenit group lab
Roberto Zenit

Details:

In this talk, I will show the state of progress on the different projects currently being pursed in our lab. Instead of dwelling on technical details of any specific subject, I will emphasize on the challenges and opportunities of the different subject of current interest. I will speak on how to study bubble flows in microgravity, on what is the effect of viscoelasticity on production of pseudo turbulence, how particles affect the swimming performance of swimmers at small Reynolds numbers and how poorly understood is the flow of cerebrospinal fluid. I will also talk about my current interest in teaching fluid mechanics to art students and my efforts to make science and engineering more appealable to local high-school students.
