By joining forces, the University of Twente and the Max Planck Society establish a world class center on fluid dynamics, the first Max Planck Center with a location in The Netherlands. The excellent research groups, combining very powerful lab facilities, will attract young scientific talent to do research at the new Center. The Max Planck - University of Twente Center for Dynamics and Self-Organization in Göttingen, the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz and two research groups of the University of Twente: Physics of Fluids and BIOS Lab-on-a-chip.
