Details:This talk will discuss several mathematical approaches of motion estimation in videos, with particular focus on underresolved and noisy image data as obtained in life science investigations. We will discuss optimization models based on appropriate continuum mechanical modelling of the motion, their application, and comparison with PIV techniques. For low quality data we highlight the importance of joint motion estimation and image reconstruction in order to obtain improved methods. | ||
